Giraffes don't dance

Giles Andre / Lake

"Gerald Giraffe is graceful and tall
His neck is long and flexible,
But he has terribly crooked legs
And of course it's a business."

Gerald's crooked legs bother him
To participate in the great dance contest of the jungle.
All the animals mock him
Then something surprising happens to him...

The writer Giles Andrea wrote this story after a trip to Africa. After meeting giraffes that galloped with graceful ease, he was convinced that if such a graceful animal can surprise with such beautiful movements, surely we too can do things that others do not expect from us, if we only receive a little encouragement, just like Gerald.

Hard book for preschoolers.
