A rare and special project of preserving original restoration of murals and ceilings from the beginning of the last century is currently underway in a building on HaZioni Street in Haifa, which is intended to become a boutique hotel.
A large crowd crowded the building at 26 Zionism Boulevard during tours that were held for groups during the weekend, Thursdays-Saturdays . As part of the "Inside Homes" project.
It is a 120-year-old heritage building that contains antique paintings on the walls and ceilings from the paintbrush of Templar artist Johannes Fender, and was purchased with the aim of setting up a boutique hotel.
Shai Prakash, a world-class Israeli expert on reconstruction and preservation of murals and ceiling, and his partner Eli Shaltiel from the Azure Studio, have been entrusted with the exposure work and the reconstruction and preservation of paintings. Tzili Giladi and Almagor Shemet, interior designers who specialize in preservation and fame from Mansour from Egoz, are in charge of the project. The project is headed by the Real Estate Investment Company, in partnership with Hassan Jabarin and his uncle Turgeman.
